Hey, Hey I Wanna Be a Rockstar

Not that I ain’t… it’s just that I ain’t on the cover of Rolling Stones yet. Heh heh heh…

Alright, silliness aside.

Shit… went clubbing last night at 7. Not half bad ‘cept for a few semi-major hiccups. Had to wait in the damned line for about 1-2 hours even though we had a table booked while the normal guest line moved faster than Michael Jackson dodging the press with a child in tow.

What? Too soon? Damn.

Got in and saw that our table, which did have a sort of reserved sign sitting on the table and a bunch of China/HK fellas already occupying the place. They refused to budge. What the hell man. I was frustrated and was seriously thinking of wanting to settle it, smackdown-style, ‘cause we outnumber those yiggers. Been aching for a good punch-up for YEARS.

Anyways… the bouncers did the deed for us and nicely escorted them away. Finally we got the table, dumped the jackets and got down to get in rhythm with the beat and waited for the drinks for the night. We were opening one vodka (Smirnoff? Absolut? *shrug*) and one Chivas, possibly black label as always.

Shittiest part is that this club, Seven, has this new “policy” where they mix the drink for us. I swear… God knows if they were cheating us. I sure as hell know they were cheating ‘cause 6 mix jars that supposedly contained Chivas doesn’t taste like coke… with a hint of Chivas like someone dripped it off their armpits.

I took 6-7 shots and normally, I’d be typing this from the ICU due to alcohol poisoning. But nah man… I was jober as a sudge.

And the cranberry juice and vodka… what vodka? All I tasted was crappy ass cranberry. Damn this club. They probably just gave us half or less of the bottle altogether.

But seriously… the crowd I was hanging with were Pui Yee’s friends. Really really nice guys. Mostly my VU seniors. Some were graduating. Another dude was in the same predicament as me. Need to do 5 subs following sem and planning to hammer Masters after he’s done.

The DJ played some fair tunes but his remixes involve loads of the same tunes, like the “Sweet Dreams” riff by The Eurythmics, some generic techno loop and oddly enough, a horn. You know, the type you get in a can.

Music was bumping. Crowd was bumping too. Mostly Asians so it seriously felt like clubbing in Malaysia.

Ahhh… good times good times. Will post some pictures that doesn’t involve me looking like a complete dick when I get the stuff.

Peace out y’all.
