Hammered. Smashed. Knackered. You Name It.

Last night was Ivan's birthday so we all went to Mardi Gras in the old wing of 1 Utama. I seriously didn't expect such a place there. Well, from the outside it looked really good and on par with our usual haunt, Maison. Unfortunately for some of us, they checked our IDs and it turns out the age limit was 20! Some of us slipped past but most of us didn't. I can remember that me, Ivan, Kang Wei, Joy and the few other girls didn't slip past. Anyways, U-Jun did his usual magic with the management and we managed to get in with the pre-requisite that we needed to open 4 bottles. Tight~! Everything started off pretty alright with the usual casual drinking and the "yam seng"s to the b-day boy. Soon, it became whack! Some of us started blowing the JD bottle, namely Ivan himself, some of U-Jun's friends, Kelvin and even me. If I'm not too hammered to remember correctly, I think I drank 9 mixed and I blew 3 times. I was definitely hammered like a mo'fo. Eventually we all went down to the very empty dance floor and started dancing. You know, the good thing about Mardi Gras is that they have this podium that is elevated in the corner, above a little pool and there's water raining down. FUCK~! I remember me, U-Jun, Kelvin and some other dudes went inside to dance. The water was fucking cold and pouring down on us and it was amazing!

DAYEM~!

Not much girls went in to dance 'cause everyone was mostly watching us dance. Eventually Pei Wen and Joy went in to dance but they didn't get as wet as me and the rest of the guys. U-Jun and Samuel went in and forced them to get wet eventually. Hahahaha... Oh yeah, I almost lost my glasses in the pool. It kinda dropped while I was half-dancing half-exiting the podium. After a bit of dancing, a walk outside eventually led to vomitting. Hey, you know what, although I am allergic to alcohol, I got drunk and I still ain't feelin' a thing! Tight... Man... All I can say that it was one of my BEST clubbing experiences. Oh yeah, I tried to hit on Kat while I was drunk. That was a great after-laugh when I went home. Hahahaha... Wei, Kat, 7 minutes enough la~

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

Definitely going to Mardi Gras again, man. FOR SURE.

My 1st Hindi Movie

Few days back while being bored until my balls also want to drop off, I decided to join Rikaz to watch a Hindi movie. He doesn't understand Hindi but he claims that they had subtitles. Turns out the whole movie was in English 'cause the setting was in Britain. It starred that uh, Aish-something Rai and that Sayeed dude from Lost. It was a movie about her getting abused in every possible way by her husband (that Sayeed dude) and then her eventually killing her by setting fire to his candy ass. Mainly the movie was about her being in jail after her crimes and the injustice of the legal system sentencing her for life. She makes friends with the inmates and a Indian woman rights activist group fights valiantly over the years to reduce her crimes from murder to manslaughter due to the fact that she was abused by her husband. Well, there are parts that will make you curse the characters especially during the trial scenes 'cause they lie like shit to get her in jail. I think her name was Kiran in the movie. Yeah... but I don't know the name of the movie la. Hahahaha... Anyways, eventually the woman's rights group succeeds with help from inside and outside the jail and they create history. It's quite a nice movie but the english in the movie is so-so. Definitely worth a watch. Don't worry, there were no dances or any corny music. It's a really serious movie.

The Simpsons

D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-I-N-G. Family Guy is better. I think they tried too hard to outshine their counterpart and eventually lost the arms race with this huge flop. The plot is decent at best and the graphics were... well, they claimed it to be pure 2-D but ah well, whatever. Family Guy was pure 2-D as well. Alright, in my opinion, the Simpsons movie really did seem like a movie but it had many flaws. Namely, the story, the jokes and everything else in between. Family Guy was like a giant-sized episode but it delivered the laughs and the goods. Whatever it is, it's definitely one for the memories. Just go watch it so you can criticize it later.

Phew... feelin' fine now. Class is coming up later. I'll see you guys then.

Peace out y'all!

Introducing Kundy...! The New Addition to Kundy's Paradise!

If you all are wondering WTF am I ralking about, Kundy's Paradise is the network name and sort of the unofficial name of our household and Kundy is the name of the uh... new "housemate" of this household. Weird name for a guy but he is, after all, just a cat and he does belong to Rushdi and Rushdi being Rushdi, named him Kundy. Heh heh heh... He's just a kitten but he's fuckin' hyperactive and is currently destroying my printer paper. He likes to claw and bite people whenever he gets the chance. Anyone who is unwise enough to take a nap in the hall with have a cat waking up on his face. Or their body parts severely bitten and scratched. I have some pics of Kundy that I took while he snoozed on my lap while I was playing video games but let's save that for another time.

Harry Potty and the Order of the Phoenix

I wanted to watch this movie in Ipoh but the dudes at home were well, those kind of people who see things as they are and labelled it a kiddie movie. So, I watched it with Rushdi and his sister (who's here for 4-5 days visiting Rushdi). It is at least ten times better than all those last 4 movies put together, man! The last 4 sucked balls like nothing and this was FINALLY good! The fight scenes and everything were absolutely amazing. The actors were good as well, with Radcliffe doing the whole whiny Potter thing nicely, even though the whining part was really annoying. Umbridge... FUCK. I wanted to slap that bitch right there and then. Fuck, even if I see the actor, I would slap the livin' daylights outta that ho! It was that realistic. Hell, the directing and the movie was really good to the point that I didn't really mind the fact that the new actor playing Dumbledore sucked balls. As you guys might know, ever since he came, Dumbledore has been rather out of character. They did, of course, miss some essential parts of the book like the fact that Harry didn't go deeper into the part that his dad was really a bully and shit like that and he didn't go mad at Dumbledore. Overall, a tight movie and a must-watch for Potty fans! Oh yeah, and the blimey book is out! Heard it's up to standard with the 1st 3 books but not as sucky as the previous 2-3 books. Tight~! Can't wait to get back to Ipoh to take a read, man!

Supplementary Test

Yeah, it's at 9 am tomorrow and I'm here blogging. I seriously don't know how things're going to be but HOPEFULLY everything will tun out fine. Hui and U-Jun are joining me for the test and so is Aaron Kerk. I got 48 and it was fucking frustrating and those who got 49 must've been yankin' their pubes off, seriously! Going to study soon...

VU Enrollment

Wow... most of us got all the same classes together and all the classes that we wanted! Excellent...! Besides that, there's only one workshop in the whole semester and the timing happens to be bullshit la... The last period on Tuesday. Ah well, one day that everyone will definitely bitch about. Hahahaha...

A'ite then...

I'm off to play a bit then breakfast then going to study for MOB. Wish me luck and good luck to those who are in the same predicament as I am.

Peace out y'all.

P.S: Yours truly might be doing a stand-up comedy on air, namely the Monash online radio crap I've been hearing about. I might decline due to the lack of comedic flair and material.

And So It Restarts... D'OH!

The new timetable for VU Sem 2 and other sems are out already and available on BlackBoard. I'm still finding the god-damn site that will show me the information I need for that accursed supplementary test is still pulling a no-show on me. It's supposed to come out today! As in, 18th of July! Hmmm... Still, it's the graveyard shift in Aussieland. I'll check back in a few hours la. Damn nervous laaaa...Well, I can't say I didn't expect that I needed to sit for the damned supplementary test 'cause the moment I flipped that booklet open on that day, I knew that one way or another, it's gonna be one helluva miracle to pas that motherfucker. Lo and behold... it did come true and the worse part is, I fell short of 2 marks to skip that damned test. Ah well... Hell, I knew that it'd be a doomed thing since day 1, bitch! I just hope that I can pass this shit. Hmmm... if it IS indeed a supplementay test, whatever marks that I gain from that should be added to my measly 48%! Sounds like a sweet deal! Hmmm... maybe the test is worth 10% only... That way, we can't exactly overshoot the score now, can we?

*sigh*

These thoughts of that damned bloody test is killing me!!! No regrets, man! I did my best for that fucked-up manager interview assignment, 'nuff said! I studied my best for the damned subject, 'nuff said! But still, it ain't enough or I just wasn't good enough. It's a pity, though, that sometimes effort goes to waste and it blows up in your face. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue for long 'cause I intend to kickstart Valamanway's future very soon. I've been working on some lyrics and hopefully that Lady Luck will shine upon us.

ARRGGHHH!!!

Gotta get pumped up!!!

God's Strengh!!!*

RESULTS! Don't You Just Despise Them?

I sure as hell do A'ite, let's see... I passed my MIP. Credit for BS and best of all, a Distinction for Business Law. Now you see why it's my fave subject! Hahahaha... Anyways, I got a measly 48 for my MOB... Ah well, I expected something like that anyways. So, that means I gotta sit that supplementary test. God knows how does that thingy work but hopefully I can pass that shit otherwise I have to resit the whole damn subject all over again. I only got news about some of my friends. Haven't heard from most of them yet. There have been happy and sad stories all around la but I think that everyone did alright la.

We'll see what happens, then...

Peace out, y'all.

Mati Susah Empat Perpuluhan Kosong

For the confused, it means Die Hard 4.0. Yeah, yours truly went to watch it today with Chee Hoe and Whales. 'Tis was a gloomy day indeed. Bloody haze still lurking around M'sian skies and it looked as though it was about to rain any second when I went to fetch those two. We arrived way too early than I anticipated 'cause I didn't want the same thing to happen to us on that day we went for Transformers. So we walked around a bit and checked out some shops. We went in 10 minutes early and was really surprised to find that there were only a few people in the cinema. Oh wait, it's Friday. Hahahahaha... My mistake. Anyways, the movie was absolutely explosive. A hell lot more explosions than in Transformers. Now I know why Shakir said this was better. CGI wise, Transformers wins hands down but man... DIe Hard 4.0 has so much action, it's amazing that Bruce Willis still has enough strengh left to do all this!

*applause*

The Joy of Half-Life

After lunch, which was after the movie, of course, we skipped over to the other side of the street to the CC nearby to have a round or two of Half-Life. Half-Life with a bunch of friends is always fun. It IS a free-for-all match and the weapons are insane and since it is an old game, it doesn't lag as much on this new PCs. Had some really interesting kills and double kills when those two were spinning around chasing each other with nothing but the famed crowbar 'cause they had somehow emptied their guns. Hahahahha... Definitely one of the fine moments of gaming in my life... Hahahaha

It's Back to Class, Then...

It's exactly one week from now where I will see everyone again at the VU orientation. I already promised Kelvin that the whole Valmanway is going to Klang to have their so-called "famed" bak kut teh. Hahahaha... Seriously can't wait to see all the SL-ians again and all the VU guys and gals. Shakir, Rushdi, Rikaz, Piumi nangi, Mizna, Ivan, Khai, U-Jun, Hui, Kang Wei, Christine, Xiao Xuan, Abby and the rest of them. Hopefully this semester will pass with less snags then last sem... You know what I mean. Last semester was one that was tainted with... plenty of events. From that fucked up VU Night performance (funnily enough, my blood is boiling as I am typing) to the untimely passing of a dear friend of ours.

*sigh*

Here's to a better VU (and Monash) semester y'all.

Cheers

Peace out y'all.

12 Days Left... Ain't Too Far...

Can't believe that time has flown again! I ain't exactly having the best time of me life here in Ipoh but one way or another, days past by without me looking. I ain't complaining. No way. Not one bit. I can't wait to get my yellow ass back to Sunway man! I ain't looking forward to going back to uni exactly but it isn't that bad, seriously. Hmmm...

Guess What's Back?

The haze, that's what... We all damn well know which bloody country is responsible for this nationwide epedemic so let's not say any names to cause trouble. Actually it's more like, I know who knows about this blog and reads it and if I say anything outta line, I'm looking for a butt-kicking of my lifetime. Hey, it's just a butt-kicking. Why not? Bloody Indonesia. There, I said it. Jesus Christ... leave the damn forests alone! I'm not THE enviromentalist but I am concerned about the whole global warming thing and Armageddon thing 'cause it's most likely I'll live to see it. If we got, say, a century to go before all things go to hell, I don't mind, go ahead, at least I'll be dead and gone. So please, put those god-forsaken torches down and farm somewhere else. There's no need to put fire to the sword, mate.

GOSH!

=P

Transformers, Again

Yeah, I went to watch it again. This time with me mum. I was quite surprised when she said she wanted to watch it. Seems that of all the cartoon characters from... say, a decade ago, that I used to watch and was particularly interested in, she said that the Transformers were definitely one of the best ones she has seen so far. So, yesterday we went to the TGV cinema in Jusco to watch it. I bought the tickets the previous day 'cause those damn idiots wouldn't sell them via phone and they ain't got the online booking shit. Retards. I guess convenience is another thing I COULD love about KL, besides it being the cess pit of the country. Anyways, she said it was like when she watched "Star Wars" in her time. As in, it was groundbreaking, jaw-dropping stuff. Seriously, man, it's the bomb. If you are STILL reading this and you haven't went to watch it, go do it. NOW. After watching such a movie, other action movies like Die Hard 4 and perhaps the new Harry Potter movie won't even cut it. It feels like the time I played God of War and God of War II. Even after finishing the games... a few times finishing the games, you still can't pick up another game and then actually play it. It's like,

"Man, this is slow. GOW would've let you kill the guy and let you through"

"This is boring. I'm playing GOW. Wait, I played it already."

Yeah, something like that. It's that feel that nothing could match it. Ever. Eventually I got past that stage and started playing something else. Seriously, nothing else was as good as it was. So, I guess Transformers was like the "God of War" of movies for this year. And you sure as hell better agree with me!

Ngyah hahahahahaha...

*cough*

Sorry...

Laptop - Loss and Recovery

The fan, after months of producing enough sounds to fill up a jukebox and actually play remixed tunes, FINALLY gave in. It began overheating and shutting down randomly. So, I opened the sucker up and finally cleaned it. Unfortunately, the problem wasn't about the cleanliness, it was more of the.. uh, fan itself. So, I had to call the com guy to come over and take it away. He fixed the fan and added an additional 1GB RAM. Sweet! But still, although it HAS an X700 equipped into the damn thing, there are still some guys I doubt that can last in this baby. Eventually my laptop will be recycled and junked and hopefuly I will be lucky enough to get a new one that has over average gaming capabilities as well.

N76 - Seriously...?

That was quick, the N95 just came out and then N76? Choy~! That was fast. I really like the design thing. I sort of had a little flip-phone liking after seeing Ivan's phone but just couldn't find one that's slim and had nice specs. I guess my prayers were answered. Hopefully. I've been scouring the net for pics and specs of the li'l blighter and so far it seems pretty nice. The only problem now is that the N series has never achieved a 100% satisfaction guaranteed from any users of the N series that I am familiar with. The camera on the sucker's just 2 Megapixels but I ain't no Putlitzer prize winner-wannabe, now am I? The whole music features really got me interested 'cause I've always dreamed of a device that can call, SMS, pay music and all that jazz and the closest thing so far is a handphone. A handphone isn't really a handphone now. It's more like a bloody electrical-neo-modern-techno-Swiss-businessman-knife. Seriously! Think about it long and hard, lads. Well, whatever it is, I am kind of interested but as usual, I'm a broke nigger and the thing costs $1800+. Not looking too good. Maybe U-Jun has a nice deal for me since he IS selling a N76 (no idea who it belongs to) and it's only been a month old. *sigh* We'll see then...

Peace out y'all.

Gone But Not Forgotten (?)

Today, after I came back from my afternoon session of gym, I took a packet of cookies (the ones that had that cream in between, not Oreos, those crackers) and sat down in the living room couch and read today's papers. I heard my grandma came out of the altar room and then sort-of berated me for not uh, how do we say, pay my respects ever since I came back.

*sigh*

At 1st I was like, "Aw man... Fine fine..." and then I realized that maybe the whole purpose of this is to not forget the people who we cherish the most. I mean, if you think about it, you wouldn't want to be forgotten, right? I guesss that's what my grandma is trying to do, futilely attempting to instill that into my head. I think I've gotten into a fair bit of arguments regarding this issue, of remembering people. The paying respects thing is sorta part of the rememberance issue so I'll treat it as a whole thing altogether. I think I've talked about this before with some people like my mum and maybe Khai or Ivan (concerning Chee King, of course). I, try not to think about this people like, forever, if I can. Seriously, forgetting is no problem to me at all. This is because when you think it about it, you get depressed, etc, etc... So, I think, for me, I like to keep things that way. Hopefully to never look back at anything and keep living life as though nothing has happened. It is something that I do and though it may sound negative and reflect "badly" upon my character, you can't exactly blame a guy for trying to stay happy, right? So, think about it... If you had the chance to erase all the memories about one dead person (since you can't just have happy memories of him 'cause eventually you WILL remember that his ass is 6 feet under), would you do it? I sure as hell will. That person is long dead and gone. But, if I had a choice to only have the happy memories without the memories of him being dead, I would take that choice. Too bad the human mind doesn't work that way, eh?

Peace out y'all...

A Stranger in My Own Home

That's exactly how I feel, man. It's like, being a tourist in your own hometown sans the sight-seeing, theme park rides and the camera clicking around wildly. Everytime I get out the door, you feel like the place is alien to you. Sure, it looks damn familiar 'cept with the noticable changes due to time, renovation and the usual stuff but man.. I don't think it's the environment, man... It's the people, I feel. Either everyone's getting older, sophisticated, more lala (for Ipoh-ites, that's an undeniable AND unescapable fact) or uh.... just getting different altogether... I have no idea what has happened to Ipoh, y'know... It's becoming a lot more modernized and all these new shop lots have opened up and stuff like that. Too bad there hasn't been in an increase in shops that sell stuff that I'm actually into yet, though, like guitars, good comic shops, hobby shops and the like. I like Sunway the way it is because that's the way it is. It's KL, man, that's what you get for being the capital of the country. It's much more developed than the rest of the country, one way or another. Ipoh... *sigh* It used to be this quiet little town and shit like that. Malaysia's retirement home, man... But now, there are actually things that I see that remind me of KL no matter how feeble the attempt is. Somethings things are liked for the way they are. I like KL for the fact that it is so much more advanced and shit like that and Ipoh is like the quiet little town that I came from which is famous for it's chicken rice and that funny little uh, salted chicken or that funky uh, biscuit thing. Yeah, that sweet biscuit thing. Man, things ain't cool no more. Maybe I ain't the stranger in my own home. Maybe it's something else. Hm... *ponders*

Transformers

Even though me, Whales and Chee Hoe stepped in the cinema kinda late, we still managed to catch 99.7% of the movie and didn't miss anything crucial that led to questions in the later parts of the movie. Alright fine fine, enough about us getting into the cinema. On to the movie...

IT WAS TIGHT~!

AWESOME

TWO THUMBS UP

FUCKING ASS CRAZY

FLY AS HELL

OSCAR WINNER FO' SURE

Yeah, that sums it up. Yeah, pretty much. Wait, there is one more thing...

MOTHERFRIGGIN' AMAZING

It was explosion after explosion in the whole goddamn movie. From the start until finish, it was pure action with a dash of comedy from lead actor Shia Le-whatsisname. Man... Micheal Bay has delivered the goods. Of course, there is nothing as the PERFECT movie... Even I didn't think it was the perfect movie. Of course, to begin with, there was some mistakes with the names of the Decepticons and stuff like that. I mean, how can Frenzy be without Soundwave? It ain't right, man? Megatron should also transform into SOME sort of gun as well... Even if it did become the old Walther is a'ite, since old is gold, man. *cough* Kinda... Anyways, the important thing is, it rocked! Famous lines like "Transform and roll out" were of course, said and that sweet sweet line from the old 1980s movie, "One shall stand, one shall fall" was said. Ah man, a fanboy's dream come true... *sigh* If you have the freakin' time to read this and STILL haven't watched it, stop right now, close the damn page, walk out that door and go watch it! NOW, BITCHES!!!

*cough*

Sorry.

Peace out y'all!
