For the confused, it means Die Hard 4.0. Yeah, yours truly went to watch it today with Chee Hoe and Whales. 'Tis was a gloomy day indeed. Bloody haze still lurking around M'sian skies and it looked as though it was about to rain any second when I went to fetch those two. We arrived way too early than I anticipated 'cause I didn't want the same thing to happen to us on that day we went for Transformers. So we walked around a bit and checked out some shops. We went in 10 minutes early and was really surprised to find that there were only a few people in the cinema. Oh wait, it's Friday. Hahahahaha... My mistake. Anyways, the movie was absolutely explosive. A hell lot more explosions than in Transformers. Now I know why Shakir said this was better. CGI wise, Transformers wins hands down but man... DIe Hard 4.0 has so much action, it's amazing that Bruce Willis still has enough strengh left to do all this!
*applause*
The Joy of Half-Life
After lunch, which was after the movie, of course, we skipped over to the other side of the street to the CC nearby to have a round or two of Half-Life. Half-Life with a bunch of friends is always fun. It IS a free-for-all match and the weapons are insane and since it is an old game, it doesn't lag as much on this new PCs. Had some really interesting kills and double kills when those two were spinning around chasing each other with nothing but the famed crowbar 'cause they had somehow emptied their guns. Hahahahha... Definitely one of the fine moments of gaming in my life... Hahahaha
It's Back to Class, Then...
It's exactly one week from now where I will see everyone again at the VU orientation. I already promised Kelvin that the whole Valmanway is going to Klang to have their so-called "famed" bak kut teh. Hahahaha... Seriously can't wait to see all the SL-ians again and all the VU guys and gals. Shakir, Rushdi, Rikaz, Piumi nangi, Mizna, Ivan, Khai, U-Jun, Hui, Kang Wei, Christine, Xiao Xuan, Abby and the rest of them. Hopefully this semester will pass with less snags then last sem... You know what I mean. Last semester was one that was tainted with... plenty of events. From that fucked up VU Night performance (funnily enough, my blood is boiling as I am typing) to the untimely passing of a dear friend of ours.
*sigh*
Here's to a better VU (and Monash) semester y'all.
Cheers
Peace out y'all.
